F.A.Q. Page/Burning Questions
Q: Ahhh when are you leaving??
A: Hi! Don't panic! We will be flying out on August 5th, 2025 from Omaha Eppley Airport.
The countdown here is also reflecting our departure date as a handy reference tool.
Q: Don't you guys have like (insert absurd number) of animals? Are they coming to Thailand?
Q: What will you be doing for work?
A: Susannah will be teaching at Nakornpayap International School (NIS) as a 1st Grade Teacher for the 2025 - 2027 school year! She signed a two year contract with the school. She will also be looking into doing some private one-on-one tutoring on the side.For all who are interested you can check out the school's website here!
As for me, I am planning on taking some time off to help with the adjustment process and to care for the animals. I will also be working on keeping this blog updated with our day to day experiences and adventures. Please subscribe for email updates below so you don't miss any important notifications!
Q: Wait, what about the language?? Will Susannah have to teach in Thai?
A: Good question! I can currently speak Thai at an intermediate fluency level. I still have a long way to go to reach what I would deem "true fluency", but I have been working consistently at learning the language for over a year and feel confident in my ability.
For Susannah, the school she will be teaching at is a private school with an emphasis on learning English so all the lessons and communications are done in English there.

Q: Okay, but how will I be able to contact you?? Do I need to buy a carrier pigeon? Charter a boat? Does Thailand even have phones?
A: No need to rush out and buy a Nokia Satellite phone just yet. We will be reachable on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Email, etc once we make the move over. However, we will not be able to receive texts on our phones as usual.
Once we get settled, we will post our address for anyone who is interested in sending us a letter, manifesto, or any media of the handwritten variety.
